James D. Busch graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, and earned a certificate in intellectual property law from the Center for the Study of Law, Science, and Technology. During law school, Mr. Busch worked for The Law Offices of Steven G. Lisa as a patent agent, and also conducted 13 bench trials and assisted with 15 jury trials as a Rule 38 Prosecutor in Scottsdale, AZ. Prior to law school, Mr. Busch attended the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University where he graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Electromagnetics. While studying electrical engineering, Mr. Busch worked with experimental satellite propulsion, control, and communications systems before working with semiconductors in the medical device industry. Mr. Busch is a member of the Illinois Bar and registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
